Cars cruise to the Central Avenue Field, in Pearl River, every Friday night during the season starting the first Friday in May through the last Friday in September.
Our season ends on a high note with the Pearl River Annual Car Show, co-hosted with the Pearl River Hook & Ladder Co. Our car show attracts over 225 vehicles from the surrounding counties, as well as Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Connecticut. We can now boast the show is the largest in the county.
Aside from the fun, the club has a serious side. We are considered a non-profit organization created with the vision of giving back to the community. The Rockland Rodders have participated and even hosted special events to benefit the sick and the needed. As pledged in our mission, at the end of each season the club donates to local charities and organizations in and around Rockland. At the annual holiday party the club collects non-perishables that are sent to the men and women serving in the armed forces overseas. This has been a very successful and rewarding part of the club’s history.
